Flu vaccines are here!

We have been contacting patients who are eligible for a flu vaccine to book a flu jab appointment. We strongly encourage as many people as possible to have a flu vaccine to help protect you, your family, your community AND the NHS this winter.

Those eligible for a free flu jab here at the practice are:

• Anyone over 50 years old
• Anyone who is at risk due to a long term condition such as Diabetes, COPD, Asthma, Chronic Kidney Disease, Sickle Cell, HIV, Aids, Hepatitis
• Anyone who is pregnant
• Anyone who is immuno-suppressed
• All 2-3 year olds are offered a flu nasal spray

And all frontline health health and social care workers.

If you don’t fall into the above catagories you can get a flu jab at a local pharmacist.
