Bank holidays – last day for prescription requests & medical advice when we are closed

Last day for prescription requests to be processed ahead of bank holidays are:

• Monday 22nd December to be ready by Wednesday 24th December
• Monday 29th December to be ready by Wednesday 31st December

We need two working days to safely process prescriptions so please check your medications ahead of time so you don’t run out over the bank holidays.

We are closed on Thursday 25th December, Friday 26th December and Thursday 31st December.

If you need medical advice when we are closed you can call 111 or check online . You can also get advice and medicine from pharmacists that are open on the bank holidays as well as their normal hours on Saturday and Sunday.

For minor injuries and illnesses Urgent Care at Guys Hospital is open. For life threatening illnesses or accidents then call 999 or go directly to A&E.
