Our doctors work in a partnership and as a group. Although you are registered with a named doctor, you may see any of the doctors in the partnership.

However, we encourage you to remain with one GP for routine appointments to improve continuity.

We are a teaching practice. This means that fully qualified doctors who have been working at hospital level will be working at Villa Street for six to twelve months at a time to learn more about general practice. 

We hope you will be happy for these doctors to play a part in your care but if you have any concerns about this please inform the receptionist and we will respect your wishes.

Practice Manager

If you wish to discuss administrative or non medical aspects of your health treatment or if you have any ideas which will improve the services we provide, our Practice Manager is there to help you.

Tilly Wright also deals with problems or complaints you may have to do with the Practice.

Receptionists and Administration Team

Our receptionists will be pleased to make appointments for you to attend our surgeries and clinics, deal with requests for home visits, prescriptions and any queries you may have.

Good modern medical care is not provided by the doctors alone. We work as a team to provide a comprehensive service. As well as the Doctors and Nurses we also have the following Health Care Professionals either providing clinics at the practice or within the nearby community:

Villa Street Medical Centre is a training practice and you may be invited to take part in the training of doctors, nurses and medical students, however there is no need for you to give your consent unless you wish to do so.

The practice may wish to video some consultations. You will be informed of this in advance and may decline at any time. Videos help clinicians learn how to improve their skills.

If you do not want to to have a trainee or student present during your consultation then please let us know on arrival for your appointment. We understand that this is a personal choice.
